Don’t Miss the Next ACPA-PCA Webinars
ACPA is reminding members and chapter affiliates of the upcoming PCA-ACPA paving webinars.
The webinars take place on the second Friday of each month at 11 am (EDT) / 10 am (CDT) and feature one or two presentations. Here’s a look at the next three webinars in the series:
- August 14—The program will include, “Lifecycle Cost Analysis/Asset Management with the Arkansas DOT,” which explores how keeping pace with the pulse of the DOT is leading to new opportunities. The topic will be presented by Alan Meadors, Oklahoma/Arkansas Chapter.
- September 11—The webinar series continues with “Resiliency and Resilient Pavement Perspectives,” which explains how programs are meeting the demands in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic regions of the US. Participants will hear how the pavement industry (via ACPA) is approaching this opportunity. Presenters include: Amy Wedel (Florida Chapter), Ray Seipp (Mid-Atlantic Chapter), and Jim Mack (CEMEX and past-Chairman of ACPA).
- October 9—This webinar will cover, “Defining and Updating Specifications with the DOT.” The program will explore the working relationship with Caltrans and the formula for success. It’s part specifications, part relationships, and part tenacity. The topic will be presented by Charles Stuart, Southwest Concrete Pavement Association.
Additional webinars are being added to the schedule and will be announced soon. Look for more details, including registration, which we’ll announce in future issues of ACPA TODAY. Please note the topics and presenters may change without notice.
