ACPA and CP Tech Center Extend Webinar Series
ACPA and the CP Tech Center have announced plans to continue the popular webinar series beyond the summer.
Close to 9,000 people have participated in our webinar program or viewed them online after the live event, so plans are underway to schedule webinars through the end of the year.
Here’s a look at the one-hour webinars scheduled for the next two webinars, scheduled for September 22 and October 20. Both programs begin at 1 p.m. (EDT) / Noon (CDT):
- September 22—The topic for this webinar will be Resiliency/Resilient Pavement Systems. This webinar will explore how resilience relates to
pavements. The webinar will also describe how owners and contractors recover from disasters and the important role road design plays in recovery. The webinar will cover the need for resilient pavements; defining resilience, and improving pavement resilience. Our presenters are Jim Mack, Director – Infrastructure Market Development, CEMEX (and Past-Chairman, ACPA), and Dr. Tom Van Dam, Principal, NCE. - October 20—The topic for our newest webinar is Concrete Roundabout
Design & Construction. With the increasing popularity and use of roundabouts, which are used to keep traffic flowing and improve safety. The webinar will cover current best practices in concrete roundabout design and construction.
